  •

Thank you for enrolling with K12 Arizona Schools (AZVA & ISAZ)!

You’ve completed the enrollment process, which reserves your student’s seat. The next step is to finish registration, which is required before your student can officially start school.

Step 1: Includes legal guardian signatures for standard school requirements.

Step 2: Upload state-required documentation to officially begin school:

    ⚠ Important Deadline

If all required documents are not uploaded by 12pm on the Friday before your student’s start date, their start will be delayed to the next available date (usually about two weeks later).

  • Race and Ethnicity Data

  • School districts have some Federal and state obligations to report race and ethnicity data about the students in their schools. A school district may request that you provide your child’s race or ethnicity for this purpose.

We are hopeful you will answer the questions so we can update the student's file. We use this information to submit our Civil Rights Data Collection and also submit it to the Arizona Department of Education.

  • Please select one of the following State and Federal questions so we can update your student's files. Is the student Hispanic or Latino?
  • What is the student's race/ethnicity? (Options from enrollment forms adhering to State and Federal Guidelines are listed below in no particular order.) Please select any that apply.
  • Why do schools ask for ethnicity?

This information is used by the federal government for a variety of purposes, including monitoring job discrimination and school segregation and determining how to allocate large amounts of federal aid. The Census Bureau has included a question on race in each census since 1790.

If you want to learn more about your rights and the rights of your child when enrolling in public school, or if you believe that a school district is violating Federal law, you may contact the following government agencies:

    School Policies

    PROGRESS

Progress is measured by completion of the online curriculum, offline assignments, and submission of work samples.

    Attendance
Attendance and progress on non-school days is permitted but not required.  Our school is required to track attendance according to state law. Students should plan to spend the following minimum hours per day on course work:

    K-3rd grade= 4 hours  ~~  4th-5th grade= 5 hours  ~~  6th-12th grade= 6 hours

    Testing
All students will be required to participate in State Testing according to their grade level. Additional required testing for English Language Learners may occur upon enrollment and in the spring, for qualifying students. State testing is completed in person and it is the family’s responsibility to provide transportation to the testing location. The specific dates, times and locations of the test will be provided in advance. Please note failure to attend may result in your student not being able to attend our school in future years.

  • Hearing/Vision Screening
